Every Selective employee receives a paid volunteer day each year to lend a helping hand and make a difference in the community.

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is always memorable at Selective – for parents and kids alike. Kids come to work with their parents for a day in April and experience a “day in the life” in the insurance industry. 

For 16 consecutive years, our Branchville Office has participated in a Build-A-Bike event benefiting Project Self Sufficiency's Season of Hope Toy Drive. Teams of Selective employees compete to quickly and accurately assemble and "test drive" bikes. Selective has donated more than 300 bikes.

Selective employees are the most important element of our success. Annually we celebrate Employee Appreciation Day to recognize their hard work and unique contributions.

Our leadership team, including Chairman, President, and CEO John Marchioni, are accessible to all employees, with regular Town Hall and Quarterly Business Update events and group touch bases.
