8/15/2011 - Hyundai rated number one in brand loyalty survey
There's a new favorite among carbuyers when it comes to brand loyalty.
According to Kelley Blue Book, a vehicle valuation company, Hyundai has taken the top spot from perennial brand loyalty favorites Honda and Toyota. It's the first time Hyundai has had the distinction for an entire quarter, which this year spanned April and June.
"Hyundai's product renaissance is benefitting the company not just by attracting an all-new customer base, but by helping them to retain current loyal Hyundai owners, as well," said Arthur Henry, KBB.com's market intelligence manager. "This latest brand loyalty analysis from KBB.com is a testament to the power of attractive vehicle designs and intriguing marketing in the minds of in-market car shoppers as they consider their next vehicle."
KBB.com says it believes more drivers are remaining faithful to the Hyundai brand because the company has heavily promoted several models, such as the Sonata and Elantra, both of which have been redesigned.
