In 2026, Selective celebrated a milestone few companies ever reach: 100 years of business.

What began in 1926 with a simple belief that insurance should be personal, relationship-driven, and delivered with integrity has grown into a leading property casualty insurer built on service, trust, and innovation. For a century, we’ve helped customers recover from the unexpected, supported safer communities, and created opportunities for employees to build meaningful careers.

How We Celebrated

Throughout our centennial year, employees came together to celebrate Selective's legacy and make an impact through:

$100 to Give

Through the Selective Insurance Group Foundation, we added $100 to every employee's Selective Giving Account to donate to a charity of their choice, resulting in more than $200,000 donated among 1300 causes across 43 states.

Celebrating a Century of Selective

In May 2026, Selective's executive leadership team rang the NASDAQ Closing Bell to mark 100 years of protecting what matters most. Watch the moment that celebrated a century of strength, partnership, and commitment to our policyholders, agents, and communities.
