As an IT Early Career Associate, you will be supported by a network of mentors, technology leaders, and other early career professionals who will provide you with the structure, resources, and tools to develop your technical, leadership, and business skills.

This 360º view of your career allows you to formulate future plans and pathways while acquiring the necessary skills to meet your personal and professional goals. Our formalized program gives you the opportunity to jumpstart your journey to becoming a technology expert or leader of others.

DEVELOPING YOUR UNIQUE CAREER

Join Selective's team of talented individuals and experience a workplace dedicated to collaboration and continuous learning. Selective develops its IT Early Career Associates to provide a unique and fresh perspective, take ownership, foster the growth of new technologies, and bridge gaps to solve technical problems.

Gain hands-on business experience through real projects and meaningful assignments. During each of your rotations, you will learn from experienced IT and insurance professionals and make valuable contributions to your team. In addition to your IT role, you will be presented with opportunities to help guide the direction of the program by participating in events, enhancing our recruiting strategy, and being a member of a motivated, self-organizing IT ECDP cohort.

 

Agency and Regional Visits

Develop business acumen through agency and regional visits. Meet with underwriters, claims professionals, agency management specialists, risk management specialists, and more to see IT applied in real life.

 

Community Service

Support the communities that support us. Take a day to give back to the community through a paid volunteer day.

 

Networking and Mentorship

IT ECDP cohorts, team mentors, and senior leadership each provide a unique perspective, knowledge, and exposure to the organization.
